Except the lights on the ancient Alpine headunit have quit working so I have no idea if the clock is correct or not.
Oh well, at least the four-wheel-drive works.

That thing looks sweet. Not “good” sweet, but “I don’t give a flying fuck” sweet.
I've never liked the "aero" S10's styling, but that colour gives it a ton of attitude.

My Dad’s F-150 has somewhere north of 400,000 miles on it. 3 rear ends and 2 engines. Still has the original spare tire and wheel.
It leaks enough oil and the pump is so weak that he’s been putting 50W in it to slow the leaks down and keep the pressure up. In neutral it’s fine but the oil light comes on in gear when sitting still. The brakes feel horrible but he won’t sell it. Or pay someone to take it. In either case, he still drives it.

That’s the best kind of sweet. Almost maple syrup sweet.

Thanks. The color was just an added bonus. The truck market around here is insane, so when I found a relatively rust free S10 with working A/C and 4WD, I snapped it up quickly. It runs alright for as old as it is. 169k miles on it. It just needs the fuel injection system re-done. This is the year GM started using that stupid spider injection setup that’s a total pain. It needs a new fuel pressure regulator but that is not a separate part, of course. So it idles kind of lumpy, the fuel pump has to be primed before it’ll re-start after being driven, and it gets a healthy 13 MPG. But, it’ll be a great snow vehicle so my 6 can stay indoors.
Overall, the truck has a lot less wrong with it than most S10s, but it is far, far from “nice.” Which is what I wanted. I couldn’t have a nice truck. I’d be too heartbroken if it got scratched. This truck has so many scratches that it doesn’t matter anymore. :-)

I know what you mean. There are times I regret my truck is in such nice shape. But, that'll pay off when I try to sell it, so 6 vs 1/2 dozen.
BaconSandwich is tasty.

There’s definitely something jalop about that!
